Formal meeting of the Parish Council

In accordance with Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014, audio/visual recording and photography at Council meetings is permitted in accordance with the Council’s protocol “Filming of Public Meetings”.

Public Session

A public session of about 15 minutes will commence prior to the formal Council meeting in accordance with Section 3 of the Council’s Standing Orders.

Agenda

  1. To recieve and approve apologies for absence
  2. To note any declerations of interest on items to be discussed at this meeting
  3. To conside any matters which should be deal with in confidential session (Items which the Press and Public may be excluded further to Public Bodies (Admission to Meeting) act 1960).
  4. To approve and sign the minutes of the Council meeting on 25th January 2023
  5. To recieve a written applications and to co-opt candidates to fill the 2 existing vacancies for Parish Councillor
  6. To recieve a report from the Millenium Trust.
  7. To  recieve an Update from the Parish Plan Steering Committee
    • Play Area
    • Parish Plan
  8. To consider any issues arrising from the mayment of the Play Area, including:
    • Monthly inspection report
    • To discuss signage in the Play Area
    • To confirm the colour of Eco Mulch
    • To discuss the plan for the Weekly inspections
    • To discuss the goal posts
    • To discuss the launch event
    • To agree and confirm payments
  9. To recieve an update on the Village Hall
    • Solar Panels
    • Discuss permission for carrying out loft insulation
    • Discuss permission for repointing and removal of the chimney
    • Discuss permission for an electrician to look at security lights
  10. To consider the new shed proposed by the Workabout Group and storage of equipment
  11. To consider Christmas Street lighting
  12. To recieve an update on the memorial bench
  13. To recieve an update on speeding and highway matters
  14. To recieve an update on Footpaths and Rights of Way
  15. To recieve an update on Greenspaces/Wilding Developments
  16. To consider any planning applications since the last meeting
  17. To recieve a financial update including;
    • To recieve a report to 28th February 2023, including Bank reconciliations & payments for authorisation
    • To agree and internal auditor
    • Review  the asset register
    • Increase in Clrk Holiday Entitlement
  18. To consider a review of policies, including;
    • Safeguading Policy
    • Powers & Duties of a Parish Council
    • Standing Orders
  19. To consider any general correspondence recieved, including;
    • White Rose Update
    • CAP Meeting
    • Funding Request for 8 Shrubs
  20. To consider any agenda items and arrangements for the next Meeting of the parish council on 17th May 2023.

PARISHIONERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND MEETINGS OF THE PARISH COUNCIL AND ARE PERMITTED PARTICIPATION IN THE PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SECTION, BUT NOT IN THE DECISIONS ON OTHER AGENDA ITEMS, SPEAKING ONLY WHEN SPECIFICALLY INVITED TO DO SO BY THE CHAIRPERSON
